Password Protection

The first time you run the
Admin Console, you have to set a password that will be used to protect
the connector passwords.
If you late move the
configuration file to a different system, you must confirm the password
that was initially set before the configuration file can be used on the new
system.
Details:
The Configuration File used by the Email Forwarding Service
contains the Username/Passwords used to connect to the POP, MSN Hotmail and SMTP Servers.
The connector passwords are encrypted prior to being stored in the
configuration file In addition, to prevent some one from taking the
configuration file from one system and using it on a different system this
password is encrypted using information unique to the system.
It is possible to
change the password from the Settings menu.
